Hazel is taking Maternity Leave at the end of June and Tanith Vaughan will be taking her place for the timebeing. Tanith is very experienced in a whole range of holistic treatments; she is also trained as a Wellbeing advisor for Weleda natural products.

Hazel has been working as a Massage therapist for over 2 years, since retraining after the birth of her son. Previous to this change of career, Hazel worked and travelled all over the world; from being a long haul cabin crew member, to a deckhand/stewardess aboard a private yacht. Originally from north east Scotland, Hazel settled in Hereford in 2002.

Hazel has studied different styles of massage and creates bespoke treatments (holistic massage) according to your needs on the day. She will also use her intuition, sensing what your mind and body need.

70% of modern day diseases are the result of long term stress. The treatments Hazel offers will give you the opportunity to relax and unwind.

Holistic Massage – ½ hour £20, 1 hour £30

Trained in Swedish, hot stone therapy, bamboo, shiatsu and lomi lomi massage, Hazel may use a variety of these techniques during treatment to meet your needs. Massage stimulates all the systems of the body and can leave you feeling uplifted, relaxed and with a sense of wellbeing.

* Swedish massage –  a variety of movements, with pressure to relax or uplift

* Hot stone therapy – balancing, due to the presence of the five elements. The heated volcanic stones are used to massage the body- deeply relaxing and comforting

* Bamboo – a bamboo cane is used as a massage tool, resulting in firm and deep pressure to ease muscle tension

* Shiatsu – pressure points and uplifting movements

* Lomi lomi – Hawaiian technique using forearms for a firm and relaxing effect

Indian Head massage – 45 min £28

A Western treatment derived from Indian Champissage; this seated massage can be performed over clothes or on the skin with oil. Treatment covers the shoulder blades, neck, scalp and face. This treatment is excellent for stress, tension and fatigue and will leave you wanting more.

Holistic Facial (inc. Scalp massage) – ½ hour £20, 1hr £30

A facial is surprisingly relaxing, with the jaw, face and scalp holding more tension than people realise. Pressure points on the meridians of the energy pathways will be pressed to relieve blockages, stress and balance the body. The facial routine and products will be suited to your physical and psychological needs; whilst targeting skin care concerns if need be.

Reiki – 1hr £30

Universal energy surrounds us; reiki is where energy flows from the universe, through the therapist to the client, via hands on healing. This activates the natural healing process of the client’s body, restoring physical and emotional well-being.

Ear candling – 45 mins £28

A traditional holistic therapy, which can help ease ear, nose and throat complaints; such as tinnitus, excessive ear wax, sinusitis and migraines. The treatment ends with a deeply relaxing facial massage. Regardless of symptoms, this treatment is deeply relaxing and balancing in its own right.

Please note that the first appointment will be an additional £5, with an added 10 minutes for consultation time, prices were correct on 28.10.2015.
