Deep Tissue Massage Therapist
Michael has been practising for 14 years since his retraining at the RNC College for the Blind here in Hereford. Previously he was a chef but due to his sight loss had to change careers.
Michael has continued to develop his skills and create a fusion or blend of therapies which are tailor made for each client, Michael believes that every client is unique and therefore deserves treatments to be as individual as the client’s needs are.
As a massage therapist Michael has come to realise that his fingertips have become his new eyes as they locate the tensions and soften & ease the muscles.
Michael went to Thailand to train under a Thai government approved master (Dr Penit) and has continued to develop skills in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy, Swedish and Holistic Massage. He has also taught advanced massage techniques at a private college and from his clinic in South Wales
How can massage help me?
Massage has many benefits and helps muscular injuries and pain, whiplash as well as many other conditions. Massage helps with adipose (fatty) tissue and detoxing the body, through to helping with stress and bringing about a feeling of wellbeing.
Massage is possibly the oldest therapy ever and when we bump our knee, the first thing that we do is rub it, so somewhere deep in our psyche we know that massage is very good for us, even after a tense period of time there can be nothing better than to have your neck and shoulders massaged using “Positive Touch” and to soothe away the tension.
