Aromatherapy and Reflexology
Renske Tobyn
Aromatherapy is a gentle form of massage, using essential oils to encourage a state of relaxation. From this foundation, it is possible to improve many physical and emotional problems and so enhance quality of life.
Reflexology uses a system of pressure points which form a map of the body. This map can be located in the hands and feet. During a treatment these very specialised pressure points are manipulated with gentle hand and fingertip pressure to restore health and maintain vitality.
These two forms of therapy work very well in their own right, but they also complement each other and can be used together in an effective programme of treatment.
Reflexology and aromatherapy treat the person rather than the symptoms or condition.
Both are suited to people who are attracted to and who benefit from touch therapy.
These treatments are also suited to those who enjoy (or would find improvement from) relaxation and one-to-one care.
Aromatherapy and reflexology both offer a course of treatment tailored to each individual’s specialised needs, to enhance and support their own health requirements.
