Healing is one of the oldest, and in many ways simplest forms of therapy, suitable for all ages and states of health. You may well have given healing yourself without realising , simply by placing a soothing hand on a  hurt friend or family member.

 A typical healing session takes place with the client fully clothed, on a couch or chair. It starts with the healer placing his or her hands on the client's head and keeping them there for a few minutes.The head is often the area where the 'energies' are most churned up and in need of calming down.  

After the head, each of the other energy focus points (some call them 'chakras') are treated, with the intention of ensuring that all seven are in the right balance with each other, thus enabling the whole being to function harmoniously and healthily.
