Liz Turner

Yoga therapy and Ayurvedic diet, lifestyle and herbs

Liz offers personalised yoga in its traditional one-to-one form, tailored completely to you. By observing how you move and breathe, Liz creates a practice that supports your physical and mental wellbeing.

Yoga sessions focus on smooth, comfortable, coordinated breathing, helping to:

  • Ensure movements are safe and suitable

  • Calm the mind and emotions

  • Improve overall balance and ease in the body

Each practice is designed specifically for your needs.

What is Ayurveda

Ayurveda is known as yoga’s sister science.
‘Ayur’ means life and ‘veda’ means knowledge & together, “the wisdom of life.”

Using Ayurvedic principles, Liz helps you understand and rebalance your body, mind and emotions. She works with your unique constitution (based on the natural elements) and may recommend:

  • Diet choices that support your body

  • Lifestyle adjustments

  • Herbal support

The aim is to restore harmony and promote long-term health.

A powerful combination

Together, yoga and Ayurveda give you practical tools to care for your health from the inside out. It’s a gradual, step-by-step process that empowers you to:

  • Understand how imbalances happen

  • Recognise early signs of issues

  • Take empowering actions to feel better

This knowledge stays with you for life for example, knowing how to support your back, improve digestion, or ease anxiety whenever needed. It’s a true investment in self-care.

What can it help?

These sessions can support many concerns, including:

  • Back and joint issues

  • Digestive problems

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Anxiety and low mood

  • Weight management

  • Posture

  • Women’s health needs

  • Cleansing and rejuvenation

  • Aches & pains

  • Breathing problems

  • Or maybe you want to look at posture, strengthen, flex, progress your yoga journey, start a new one, go more deeply to find a sense of ease, relaxation, peace and calm. Suitable movement, positions, breathing and meditation tailor made for you

Before your session

A short health questionnaire is needed a few days before your appointment. Liz will discuss your goals and help choose what is manageable and appropriate for you.

It is usually necessary to take more than one step,as health patterns take time to form, they also take time to rebalance. With patience and commitment, the process helps you take charge of your wellbeing and enjoy a healthier, more balanced life.
